Stella Senior Center Dinner/Dance

The Stella Senior Center will have a dinner/dance on Feb. 12. Starting at 5:30 p.m., they will be serving chicken and noodles with green beans, mashed potatoes, a drink and a dessert for $5. At 7 p.m., Frosty and The Roadhogs will provide the music for the dance. The cost for the dance is $3.

On Feb. 13, Stella Senior Center will host a Valentine's Dance. Cheyenne will play at 7 p.m. Bring finger foods to share at 5:30 p.m.

Pineville License Office Closed

The Pineville License Office will be closed Feb. 12 in observance of Lincoln's Birthday and on Feb. 15 in observance of Presidents' Day.

Free Anderson Community Dinner

There will be a free Community Dinner on Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Anderson Methodist Church, 702 Patterson St. in Anderson. The menu will be chicken, hot dogs, potato and pasta casseroles, vegetables, breads, hot rolls, various salads, desserts and drinks. Anyone can come. Noel Community Dinner

Wednesday, Feb. 17, there will be a free dinner at Noel United Methodist Church from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Ham & beans, slaw, fruit salad, cornbread, dessert, tea and coffee will be on the menu.

Republican Club

Lincoln Day 2016 is fast approaching and is to be held Feb. 20 at River Ranch Resort in Noel. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon. This year's featured speaker is Missouri Senate President Ron Richard. Tickets are $15 per person or $150 for a sponsor table to seat eight. Test Your Chili-Cooking Skills

Think your chili recipe is the absolute best? Find out by entering the 12th annual NEBCO FIRE-EMS Chili Cook-Off Feb. 27 in Garfield, Ark. The event is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the NEBCO Community Center, U.S. Highway 62 and South Wimpy Jones Road. Those attending get all-you-can-eat chili, just $6 for adults, $3 kids 5-12, and under 5 free. Desserts are also available.

13th Annual Model Train Show

Saturday, Feb. 27, the Sugar Creek Model Railroad and Historical Society will present a Model Train Show at The Holiday Inn Northwest Arkansas Convention Center in Springdale, Ark, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be more than 70 vendors from three states, train layouts, modeling demonstrations, door prizes and much more. The grand-prize drawing will be two free round-trip tickets on A&M Railroad. Come, bring your train buddies and be an active participant in this great train show. Quilt Show Set For June 4-5

Missouri River Quilt Guild in Jefferson City announced its 2016 Quilt Show will be held June 4 and 5 at Lewis and Clark Middle School, 325 Lewis And Clark Dr., Jefferson City, Mo.

The show's theme is "Show Me Your Quilts" and will feature 300 quilts on display as well as a vendor hall and vintage quilt bed turning programs on both days of the show. Quilt Show hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, and from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 5.
