The McDonald County Republican Club is still accepting applications for scholarships. The club annually awards two $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors residing in McDonald County as well as college students who are registered to vote in McDonald County. (If under 18, they must be eligible to register to vote in McDonald County once they reach the age of 18.)
Applications are available at McDonald County and Southwest High School counselors offices. Scholarship applications must be postmarked no later than May 31, 2016, to McDonald County Republican Club, P.O. Box 793, Pineville, MO 64856.
