An agreement was made between the McDonald County Commission and landowners near the proposed Oscar Talley Bridge, Charles Snyder and Rick Jordan, during the Sept. 23 meeting. An easement was accepted and the project is expected to begin in 2016.
John Fiestner and Kendra Clift, of the Natural Resource Conservation Service, met the commission at Langley Road in Anderson to conduct a final completion review of the NRCS project.
Five days later, at the Sept. 28 meeting, the commission met with Audi Pruitt to discuss the possibility of road repairs on Rains Road in Jane/Pineville. The commission also conducted a site visit of Eagle Road and South School Street near Goodman. Western Commissioner David Holloway and Eastern Commissioner John Bunch visited Hobbs Road in Lanagan the same day.
