Kindergarten and first-grade students at White Rock School in Jane entertained a large audience on Nov. 19 with a Thanksgiving program in celebration of the upcoming holiday.
"The Thanksgiving program is one of our largest and most attended family night programs at the school," first-grade teacher Amy Bethel said.
The program kicked off with kindergarten students singing some lively songs. Following was the program re-enacting how the Pilgrims came to America, their interaction with the natives and how they all worked together to survive.
"These programs bring the community together," Bethel said, "the staff, students and parents experience what they can accomplish when working together."
