The McDonald County High School boys' basketball team has received the top seed for the 69th Annual Carthage Invitational set to begin Nov. 30 at Carthage High School.
The Mustangs begin tournament play at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30 against the Seneca Indians. The winner advances to the semifinals set for 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4. The championship game is set for 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Neosho received the number two seed followed by Monett, Carthage, Rogers, Ark., Nevada, Joplin and Seneca.
Carl Junction Girls Tournament
The McDonald County Lady Mustangs received the number four seed at the CJ Classic Girls Basketball Tournament scheduled for Nov. 30 through Dec. 5 at Carl Junction High School.
McDonald County opens the tournament against Nevada at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30. The winner advances to the semifinals set for 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3. The championship game is set for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Carl Junction is the top seed followed by Jasper, Carthage, McDonald County, Nevada, Seneca, Liberal and Monett.
