Anderson will be holding it's annual Winterfest Pretty Baby Contest at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov 28. The event will take place at Exciting Living Word Fellowship in Anderson. Categories are for both boys and girls, ages newborns through 24 months.
Entry fee is $5. Entry forms are available at Anderson City Hall or at www.andersonbetterment.org.
The Pretty Baby Contest is just one of the events in Anderson's annual Winterfest Celebration. The festivities include the annual Winterfest 5k/10K Run and Walk on Saturday, Nov. 21. The Holiday Business Open House Tour, the "Meet Me Downtown for Winterfest" street fair and the Winterfest Christmas parade all unfold on Saturday, Nov. 28, along with the Baby Contest.
Parade Information
Excitement is building in Anderson as the community gets ready to kick off the Holiday season.
The annual Winterfest Christmas Parade is set for Saturday, Nov 28. Line up starts at 1 p.m. and the parade starts at 2 p.m.
Expect to see all kinds of different floats, bands, antique trucks, cars and tractors, and many other entries, including a surprise or two! And don't forget Santa will be there checking his list!
Vendors and Main Street businesses are encouraged to set up along Main Street starting at noon before the parade for the annual Meet Me Downtown for Winterfest Street Fair.
There will be music, food vendors, retailers, even arts and crafts and various raffle items at this year's fair. Come early to get something to eat, do some shopping and get ready for the parade!
Entry forms for the parade can be picked up at Anderson City Hall, Anderson Floral, or Farmers Insurance in Anderson.
