Back To Basics Meeting Set For March 12

The McDonald County Back to Basics Community Group will meet Thursday, March 12 in the Community Room at New-Mac Electric in Anderson. A potluck dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting to be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Luck O' The Irish Potluck

With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, the potluck will be in celebration of the holiday. You can bring a potato dish, a green dish, corned beef and cabbage or whatever you want. This can be anything including main dishes, sides and/or desserts. Please bring your own table service (plates, utensils) to conserve resources. Beverages will be furnished.

Entertainment

Musical entertainment will be provided by Jack and LeeAnn Sours with some Celtic music for the occasion.

The speaker for the meeting is Vernon Stephens, from Powell area who will be speaking about taxidermy. Ever caught a lunker bass or deer or bear? Want to know how to go about getting it mounted for your wall? (These folks are artists.) Don't miss this.

Criteria for weather cancellation is that if the McDonald County Schools are cancelled, B2B meeting will be also.

Bring a canned or packaged food donation to be given to Crosslines (must be non-expired and non-dented). If everyone brought just one can, we would have 40 or 50 cans to help feed some hungry folks. There will be a drawing for a monthly door prize. You will get one entry for the prize for each can or item of food that you bring.
