Satan Works Against Us When We Do God's Work

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2

Mark Alumbaugh and Derrek Woodard received the morning tithes and offerings after the little children collected for the penny drill. Pastor Scott led the congregation in prayer and praise to God...cast your care upon Him for He cares for you. Tara Stephens and Megan Yotter led the worship service with "The Old Gospel Ship," "When I See the Blood" and "What a Day That Will Be."

But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews. Nehemiah 4:1

Whenever we endeavor to do the work God gives us to do, Satan will work against us. In this case Nehemiah met with heavy opposition when he sought to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit was at work in the people and they had a mind to work for the glory of God. The burden was laid upon their hearts; this same Holy Spirit is still at work today in us. We are to know the truth and do it, even when Satan comes against us. Not for our glory, but for the glory of God. Megan Yotter played the piano softly as Pastor Scott gave the invitation and Dennis Yotter dismissed us in prayer.
