The McDonald County FFA Chapter took 29 members to the 87th National FFA Convention held last fall in Louisville, Ky.
While there, members attended sessions held by the national officers and motivational speakers including Nick Vujicic, Donnie Smith, Jeff Simmons and Jane Herlong.
Students had the opportunity to tour the Louisville Slugger Museum and factory, Churchill Downs and also go to watch the world's toughest rodeo.
Time was also spent exploring the Business Expo and Career Fair at the FFA shopping Mall. At the Business Expo, students got the chance to talk to college representatives and members of the ag industry.
The McDonald County FFA Chapter hopes to have the opportunity to attend the 88th National FFA Convention in Louisville, Ky. next fall.
