If you participate in one of the following programs, you may qualify for Lifeline or Disabled discounts on your telephone service.
For Lifeline discounts, programs include Medicaid, Food Stamps, Supplemental Security Income, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, Federal Public Housing Assistance, National School Lunch Program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families or be at 135 percent of the federal poverty level.
For Disability discounts, programs include Veteran Administration Disability Benefits, State Blind Pension, State Aid to Blind Persons, State Supplemental Disability Assistance, Federal Social Security Disability and Federal Supplemental Security Income.
Applicant may only have one phone line entering their principal place of residence. Other restrictions may apply. If you think you are eligible and would like more information, contact your telephone service provider.
