Three Hurt In Separate One-Vehicle Wrecks

A motorcyclist from Tulsa, Okla., sustained serious injuries July 19 when he wrecked his Suzuki 1000 on Highway 90, two miles west of Noel, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The highway patrol reported that Keith J. High, 25, was westbound when he ran off the right side of the road and overturned. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.

Denise M. Cobb, 40, Pea Ridge, Ark., also sustained serious injuries in a one-vehicle wreck. Cobb was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer south on Route KK, four miles north of Pea Ridge July 15 when she ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch and rock embankment.

She was airlifted to Mercy Hospital. The highway patrol reported she was not wearing a seat belt.

Darren M. Edens, 48, of Wyandotte, Okla., sustained moderate injuries July 15 in a one-vehicle wreck on Highway 43, four miles north of Southwest City.

The highway patrol reported Edens was southbound when he ran off the road, struck a ditch and overturned. He was taken to Freeman Hospital in Neosho. The patrol reported Edens was buckled up.
