Herdsman Award

The purpose of the Herdsman Award is to encourage youth to work with their animal with kindness and gentleness but firmness, to promote ease of handling, proper care and training.

The animal will not be judged for conformation or quality, only for its response to the owner, such as, gentleness and workability of the animal in and out of the ring.

Judges will be looking for clean stalls and animals that are well cared for.
