The McDonald County High School JROTC Drill Team finished its third drill meet of the semester completing the fall semester with an unbelievable performance this past weekend at Greenwood, Ark.

With nine schools present and over 300 cadets participating in the largest drill meet before the Christmas break, the Mustang Battalion Drill Team kept its winning tradition going.

McDonald County drew the first straw and was first to perform. Going first is never easy according to the team commander Rebecca Fritzler, who stated "because we were first there is nothing to compare us to and the scores can be somewhat lower."

McDonald County placed third in Regulation Drill without Rifles and in Exhibition with Rifles.

After the Christmas break, the McDonald County has scheduled drill meets in Nevada, Webb City, Joplin and Forsyth. The Regional Drill Meet is scheduled for April 11, 2015 in Tulsa Okla.
