Four Youth Wrestlers Win At Seneca Tournament

Four members of the McDonald County Youth Wrestling Club won championships at the Seneca Youth Wrestling Tournament held Sunday.

Levi Smith (10 and under, 65 pounds); Oscar Ortiz (12 and under, 85 pounds); Brandon Armstrong (12 and under 100 pounds); and Lane Pointer (12 and under, 175-220 pounds) all took first place in their respective divisions.

6 and Under -- Zachary Williams, fourth place, 40 pounds; Daxton Kline, second place, 45 pounds; Landon Vick, fourth place, 50 pounds; Tanner Casey, fifth place, 50 pounds; and, Braden Cook, fourth place, 60 pounds;

8 and Under -- Ryder Martin, second place, 55 pounds; Maddox Feagin, fifth place, 60 pounds; Dylan Ferdig, third place, 60 pounds; Eli Brock, fourth place, 65 pounds; and, Dakotah Pointer, third place, 80-85 pounds;

10 and Under -- Rylan Armstrong, fourth place, 55 pounds; Carson Brock, third place, 65 pounds; Lex Spurlock, second place, 65 pounds; Cross Spencer, second place, 70 pounds; Ashlyn Estes, third place, 70 pounds; Charlie Boze, fourth place, 75 pounds; Blaine Ortiz, third place, 80 pounds; Jarek Jordon, third place, 80 pounds; Colter Vick, fourth place, 85 pounds; Malachi Bradford, fifth place, 85 pounds; Jacob Gordon, fourth place, 85 pounds; Jayce Hitt, second place, 110 pounds; and, Sam Murphy, second place, 130 pounds;

14 and Under -- Dylan Atkins, second place, 165-175 pounds.

Next week the club heads to Diamond for an open tournament on Saturday and a novice tournament on Sunday.
