Indian Creek Betterment Society Seeking Donations

Established in 2014, Indian Creek Betterment Society is a nonprofit 501(c) organization located on Indian Creek in Anderson.

The organization's mission is to improve the quality of local waterways for the fauna, flora, visitors and landowners. The group also strives to provide safe rivers free of obstacles and debris with the intention of making Indian Creek more attractive for all involved and to encourage outdoor recreation and support the local tourism of our rivers and streams.

Indian Creek Betterment Society is not only focused on river safety and cleanup, but equally land conservation. It is working to reduce erosion and agricultural impacts on the creek and surrounding areas. Indian Creek Betterment Society is in the early stages of establishment and needs the support of our local business community and residents of McDonald County.

You can help further its efforts by donating time, equipment, marketing support and/or a tax deductible donation to the Indian Creek Betterment Society. Your contributions will fund essential items including gloves, waste containers, canoes and flat bottom boats. Improved waste disposal options along the river along with access from landowners will also be needed.
