The second annual History Live day hosted by the McDonald County Historical Society will be held Saturday, May 24, at the Historic Courthouse on the Square in Pineville.
Come enjoy food, a live auction, activities for the kids and many historical presentations and activities. Raffle tickets are being sold for a new Doug Hall framed print titled, "Finishing Touch." Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20.
Tickets are also being sold for three drawings: an Acer laptop, a Kindle Fire and $150 cash. You can get your tickets from Society members or by sending a check or money order for the amount you wish to purchase to the Historical Society address listed below. Your tickets will be mailed to you.
News for the museum is the Display Committee is preparing new exhibits and the renovation continues at the museum just in time for the May event.
