The 22nd Annual Missouri’s Largest Garage Sale is scheduled in Neosho for April 10, according to the special events committee of the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce, sponsors of the popular event.
This year’s event is a change from the normal first weekend in April because of theEaster holiday.
“We advertise the event all over the four-state area and many of our visitors come here annually in search of bargains,” Executive Chamber Director Shana Griffin said. “It brings thousands of tourists to the community and they spend money at our hotels, restaurants and convenience stores.” An estimated 350 sales will be set up, manyof which will be multi-family.
A map with a listing of all the garage sales will be available at most convenience stores and restaurants the morning of the sale.
Those who plan to arrive in town Friday are urged to make hotel reservations early.
